I am a long time fan of BBC/BBC Prime/BBC Brit. I have enjoyed many good programmes over the years. Some examples include various comedy series, like Only Fools And Horses, Babylon, Extras, etc. I also enjoy Top Gear, QI and Interceptors. But of recent I find that a variety of car programmes are littering the tv-screen, such as Motorheads and Car Crash TV. To top it all I litterally think that Rude(ish) Tube is an insult to the viewer's intelligence. I cannot understand how a respected corporation like the BBC would even consider including this (pardon my French) genuinely stupid programme? In conclusion, certain programmes of late tend to make me watch considerably less BBC Brit than previously. Therefore I hope certain changes are in the making.
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels.
Feedback from regular viewers is extremely important to us, and we appreciate your comments about the BBC Brit schedule.
It is rare that any programme meets with universal approval, and we note that you have not enjoyed Rude(ish) Tube. We also note your view that car programme feature too prominently on the channel.
Comedy remains an important part of our schedules, and current highlights include a brand new series of the offbeat sitcom Uncle, as well as new episodes of Live at the Apollo. Future premieres will include a brand new series of the popular panel show 8 out of 10 Cats.
We hope you will find more shows to enjoy on BBC Brit, but we will share all of your feedback with our programming team.
Thank you again for getting in touch.
