Just recently adverts have started showing during BBC programmes: BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Knowledge etc. BBC has always been an advert-free zone, and now we are bombarded by Norwegian adverts in the middle of BBC shows. This is extremely irritating! Why? I sincerely hope this is a temporary glip.

Hello BBC!
I'm a big Sherlock fan and I just wan't to know, when Sherlock is back on BBC and if so, what BBC program? :)
Hope to hear from you!
Milena
BBC
Dear Milena,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.
We appreciate your interest in Sherlock. Unfortunately we don't currently have any plans to show it again, but we may in the future. Meanwhile we hope you're enjoying series 2 of Rev, showing now on BBC Entertainment, and that you'll find series 2 of Luther of interest when it premieres on 6th April.
Best wishes,
BBC Entertainment

Why, oh why, has the BBC suddenly decided to have commercial breaks on BBC entertainment? For norwegian products? BBC entertainment suddenly lost most of its appeal for me.
Carole
Unfortunately whilst watching the third gripping episode of On Thin Ice on Sunday evening we lost our TV signal. I therefore missed the second half of the third episode and the fourth (final?) episode. Can you tell me if this will be repeated any time soon. I am in Norway.
BBC
Dear Carole,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.
We are sorry to hear that you missed the third episode of On Thin Ice. Unfortunately, we are not planning to repeat this series in the near future but we will note your interest in seeing this particular episode again on the channel in the future.
We do hope you enjoy our premieres Stargazing and Planet Dinosaur, both on BBC HD from 14th March.
Best wishes,

hi, it's interesting to read your replies about why you send so many repeats and i think your excuises are rubbish this is the year 2013 not 1973 almost everybody can record the programs they know they will miss and watch them later.
Lars
So I have been watching for some time, and I thought that you aired programs without commercial, but only recently i have noticed commercial brakes :O Did you just start having commercials? Or have I been in a coma from your great programing and not noticed the commercials before recently?
Jane
Please can we have the best show on earth on BBC Entertainment! It is a tragedy not to have Strictly Come dancing on BBC Entertainment,(Sweden) it is impossible to watch any other dance show after seeing this programme. One of the only reason I chose my TV package is for BBCEntertainment and shows like Strictly. What is happening? Why are we getting such old, repeat shows? It feels like we are at least 5yrs behind the UK>
BBC
Dear Jane,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.
We are delighted to hear you enjoy Strictly Come Dancing so much. Unfortunately we don't have any plans to show it in the near future, but we have noted your comment and will certainly pass it on to our programming team. Meanwhile we hope you continue to enjoy our programmes. We do show classic shows and older series as many viewers haven't previously had the chance to see them, and also repeat programmes in order to account for the viewers who missed them the first time around as well as those who may like to watch their favourites again. However we constantly invest in new programmes, such as upcoming premieres Would I Lie To You series 5, starting 13th March, Alan Carr: Chatty Man series 10, starting 21st March, and new episodes from series 12 of The Graham Norton Show, starting on 16th April, which we hope might interest you. We thank you again for your comment and the time you took to write to us, as audience feedback is extremely valuable for us and helps us shape our future schedules.
Best wishes,
BBC Entertainment

I am pleased to read of the schedule changes for EastEnders; however, it would be interesting to read why you have chosen to include characters/actors no longer in the series in your on-air trailers announcing the time change.
BBC
Dear Jay,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.
We are very pleased to read that you are happy with the scheduling changes for EastEnders and we also thank you for your enquiry about the on-air trailers announcing the time change for this series.
We raised your enquiry with the team who produced these trailers and they explained that the main theme of these trailers was to direct viewers to the new time change and this was done by using the most exciting clips available to them when they produced these trailers. Many of the most explosive scenes occurred around the Christmas 2012 episodes, and the trailers included a very brief clip of the character Derek who ‘died’ in the Christmas episodes which have already been broadcast on BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region.
The team who produced these trailers very much appreciate your feedback. They have confirmed that in future they will only be using the most up-to-date episodes from the UK to use as clips for our trailers, however it is worth noting that as our trailers and promos tend to run for around a month very occasionally a character may leave the series while a trailer is still running on the channel.
We do hope this explanation has been of interest.
Best wishes,
BBC Entertainment

I would love to know if "Strictly Come Dancing" will be broadcast here in Norway again. I miss it. One of my favorite programs.

Hi. Just want to say that I am not prepared to continue subscribing to BBC channels now that programs are interrupted by commercial breaks. I find it extremly annoying, not worth watching and certainly not worth paying for. In future I will watch BBC programs when available on commercial free channels.
