Hello After you started showing norwegian adverts on the channel your programme schedule is completely wrong. I wanted to watch QI tonight. It was according to your schedule supposed to start at 20:00. When I turned on twelve past eight the next programme - Would I lie to you - that was supposed to start 20:30 just started. This is really annoying and I would really appreciate if you could fix this. I have been in contact with the firm that deliver the tv signals where I live and they say they get the schedule from you. To me it looks like you have not taken into consideration the delays caused by the new norwegian adverts and changed the schedule to fit in with this. I would also like to say that I was very dissapointed with the adverts. I used to love your channes but I am not sure I will renew my subscription.

BBC

Dear Nina,

Thank you for your feedback.

You are correct that unfortunately the online schedule did not list the correct starting time for QI and Would I Lie To You? and we are very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused, however the television EPG and the local listings should have shown the correct timings for these programmes. We are currently undertaking work on the online schedules to ensure that inaccuracies of this nature do not occur and this work should be completed in the near future. We appreciate your patience while this work in undertaken.

We are very sorry to read that you are currently disappointed with our channels and we very much hope that you will continue your subscription and enjoy some of the fantastic programmes we have coming up including at the end of June Glastonbury 2013 and in July the hugely popular Sherlock series 2 and we will also be premiering a new series of Live at the Apollo.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us.

Best wishes,

Hello!

Why are you running the same episodes of QI over and over again? I know there are new ones on mondays but I mean the episodes that run during the day, it is always the same ones. Also, why are you so behind on Doctor Who? WHY can you show it on BBC America without delay and not here?

Thanks in advance.

BBC

Dear Anna,

Thank you for your two messages to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We very much appreciate your feedback about our programmes. Turning to your query regarding QI, as you mention we are premiering episodes of QI (series 9) on Mondays at 22:00 and we do hope you are enjoying these brand new episodes. You mention that you have seen the same episodes repeated a number of times, however we would just add that this month we are showing episodes from QI series 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 and you may find it helpful to check scheduling details for forthcoming broadcasts of QI on our website to ensure that you avoid watching an episode you have previously viewed: http://www.bbcnordic.com/qi

Turning to your comments about Doctor Who, due to rights and availability issues, there will always be a delay between original transmission and when we are able to bring programmes to our international viewers. In addition, when we buy our programming from the BBC and independent production houses sometimes the rights to certain programmes are only available in particular territories, for example where one title may be available for America, the rights may already have been acquired by another channel in the Nordic region, however we always try to minimise any delay wherever possible.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us.

Best wishes,

Hi!

I have previously been very upset with all the re-runs of programmes on BBC Entertainment in Sweden. But I now want to Thank You for showing a much more entertaining schedule. I love that we now get to watch The Graham Norton, The Chatty Man shows without too long delay from sent in UK. Thank you also for the so much better times and re-runs of the Eastenders, for all the fun stand-up comedy, Qi, Would I lie to you and much more dramas and comedy shows and series. This now feels like a British channel as it should be, without any Swedish and very few American shows that we can watch on so many other channels. If I should wish for something, I wish you could show Children in Need, Comedy relief and such shows. Thank you also for showing the jubilee show last year live. Luther is a good series but a one you have already sold to SVT several years ago. There must be so many good series that you can show that haven´t been sold to other Swedish channels. Keep up the good work :-)

BBC

Dear Liz,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We very much appreciate feedback from our viewers – whether positive or negative – and it was very kind of you to take the time and trouble to let us know how much you are currently enjoying our programming and scheduling and also how much you appreciate watching The Graham Norton Show and Alan Carr: Chatty Man so soon after these shows have been first shown in the UK.

We have also noted your request to see shows such as Children in Need and Comic Relief on BBC Entertainment in the future and we will make your request available to the appropriate team.

We hope you'll enjoy some of our upcoming premieres, such as a new series Fresh Meat, from 3 June, series 2 of The Old Guys, from 14 June, as well as a new series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle, on BBC Entertainment from 26 June. We hope that you continue to enjoy the high quality entertainment that our channels in the Nordic region have to offer in future.

Best wishes,

Why in the name of Odin's crows have you moved Red Dwarf and replaced it with the god awful Rev?(pun intented)

BBC

Dear Adam,

Thank you for your message to BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region.

The recently broadcast series 1 of Red Dwarf contained six episodes, and these were shown in full on BBC Entertainment between 22nd April - 3rd May. Rev. series 1 replaced Red Dwarf series 1 in the 18:05 timeslot (from 1st May). We are sorry if it was not clear when this series was coming to an end. We hope you enjoyed Red Dwarf: Back To Earth series 9 which was also recently shown on our channel and concluded on 8th May. We are sorry to hear you are not enjoying Rev., but you might be pleased to know that in the next month we will be showing many classic comedies such as 'Allo 'Allo, Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances, Last Of The Summer Wine, and My Family. You can find the scheduling details on our TV schedule.

Please, show more game shows and panel shows on BBC Entertainment. I'd love Would I Lie to You and there are more shows like that which should be on in the Nordic countries.

I'd love to see Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Never Mind the Buzzcocks as they are not shown by any other channel here. They would be perfect for your channel.

BBC

Widescreen

We are planning to update all our BBC Worldwide channels to widescreen, and as you can understand this takes time. It is our ambition to have all of our BBC channels in the 16:9 / widescreen format before the end of the year and we are pleased to confirm that BBC Lifestyle in the Nordic region converted to widescreen in May 2013.

Please note that while the channels will convert to widescreen, some of your favourite old shows such as ‘Allo Allo’, will remain in the “old format” known as 4:3, as this is how these shows were originally shot.

Maria

BBC Entertainment is a lovely channel, but you have to stop announcing things at the end of programs while the plot is still going on! Just watched My family and the announcer came in and spoke, the picture went to half size and the volume dipped right at the punch line of the whole show! It keeps happening and it makes me fed up with your channel! Please stop, it can't be that tight when it comes to time that you have to interrupt the shows that are the reason one watches your channel in the first place...

BBC

Dear Maria,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We are very pleased to read that you are a fan of BBC Entertainment and we do hope that you will continue to enjoy our programmes. We very much appreciate your feedback regarding the trails and promos which feature on the channel and we are sorry that there have been instances when our trails and promos have spoilt your enjoyment of our programmes. We have passed your feedback regarding My Family on 1 May to our technical team so that they are aware of your feedback and so that they can investigate the possible causes which could have resulted in a promo or trail being broadcast before this programme had concluded.

Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to contact us with your most valuable feedback.

Best wishes,

Design Rules is the best program I have seen until now. What is the schedule for this program in Norway?

BBC Entertainment became very bad after you considered advertising...Sorry, but you destroyed a very good channel with this advertising.

Patrick

BBC entertainment advertising is awful. My family will not be watching this channel again.
