Hi BBC, I saw this: BBC Dear Iver, Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels. Top Gear is a hugely popular show and the most recently produced series was broadcast earlier this year. Regarding the repeats of Top Gear, many viewers enjoy seeing episodes from earlier series that they may have missed when first shown, or enjoy seeing episodes again.

NO!, We did not get the recent programs! And we do not want endless loops of your "best of ancient Top Gear episodes". Top Gear was the reason I got my subscription 6 years ago and now it seems it is the reason I will stop subscribing here in Sweden. We are not stupid, we need new stuff, some of us is not senile! By the way, SPA Sweden as bought 2008 and does not handle your stuff in Sweden, you might need to update your info here to! Thanks, have a fantastic day!

BBC

Dear Hannu,

Thank you for your messages to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region and we are sorry for the delay in replying to you.

Turning first to your comments regarding Top Gear, we apologise that a previous response on the site gave incorrect information regarding the broadcasting of this series in the Nordic region. We have now removed this response and we apologise for any confusion caused.

Due to rights and availability issues, there will always be a delay between original transmission and when we are able to bring programmes to our international viewers, but we do try to minimise this wherever possible. Top Gear series 17 is currently premiering on BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region and we do hope you are enjoying watching these new episodes. Currently we do not have any information about the scheduling of series 18, or indeed series 19 which is yet to broadcast in the UK, but we recommend you keep a check on the website for future scheduling details and information about new programmes on our channels in the Nordic region http://www.bbcnordic.com/

We are sorry you are disappointed that we are also broadcasting episodes of Top Gear which have previously been shown. For lots of viewers, our channels are often the only portal to allow fans of British television to see some of their favourite BBC programming and many viewers enjoy watching episodes of Top Gear more than once. As with all cable and satellite channels, repeats are a feature of most schedules. This is welcomed by those viewers who don't watch the same channel every day and, due to the multi-channel environment, often miss complete series. Nevertheless, we are committed to doing everything possible to introduce a higher number of new titles to our channels and are pleased to hear comments from our viewers on how the current programming is being received. In addition to Top Gear series 17, we do hope you are enjoying some of the other new programmes we have on BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region this month including QI series 8, Would I Lie to You? series 4, Alan Partridge’s Mid-Morning Matters and Friday Night Dinner.

We can confirm that we have now amended the details on the website regarding the networks on which are channels are available and we appreciate your feedback on this page.

Thank you very much indeed for taking the time and trouble to contact us and we hope very much that you will continue to subscribe to our channels and may we wish you a fantastic day as well.

Best wishes,

I am sad to see that you still cling to sending The Best Of Top Gear 2006/2007. I am not sure we get Best of 08/09/10, but I would not miss that. Why not try something new, like The Best Of Top Gear 2011/2012, or even Top Gear episodes from 2012. We can take it here in Sweden, and I do not want to hear that "many people want to see the reruns again, again and again"! Where is the new stuff, I need advice to see what to buy, it is not supposed to be an Antiques Show, right!? Seems Fifth gear can send contemporary car programs, why not try that?

Patricia

Will there be another season of Strictly Come Dancing? I realize that the programme is not on the current schedule, but how many weeks ahead does that go? As I would be disappointed to miss another scintillating series, when should I check again? Yours sincerely, Patricia

BBC

Happy New Year! Thank you for loads and loads of great entertainment. We've, my wife and myself, become big fans of Antiques Roadshow, but are getting a bit tired of all the season 33 reruns. :-) When are you planning to air season 34?

Sincerely, Hadje & Torbjørn from Norway

I absolutely love Alan Carr and Graham Norton. With that said I want more talkshows on BBC Nordic channels. I'd love to see Craig Ferguson's Hollywood talkshow from CBS with international celebrities. I know it's a US show but Craig Ferguson is Scotish and he gives the show a British flavor. It would be perfect for BBC Nordic since we don't get it over here.

BBC

Dear Sebastian,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We are absolutely delighted to read that you are such a fan of Alan Carr: Chatty Man and The Graham Norton Show. We don't have any current plans to show Craig Ferguson's talk show but we will note your request.

We hope you will enjoy some of our fantastic new programmes on our channels in the Nordic region and more information of January's highlights can be found here

What is the meening of schedule for BBC Nordic if you are not following it. I have been missing a lot of EastEnders because of that.Today 1of Januari there was a mess. Schedule says starting 11.30 (nordic time) but it started in the "Count down"-program. I wish the program could have the same sendingtime every day.Greetings from an angry lade in Norway.

BBC

Dear Marie-Anne,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

On 1 January 2013, there was a change in the scheduling for the premiere episode of EastEnders and this was as a result of scheduling programmes which featured in the Comedy Countdown. We are very sorry that this caused you to miss the first half of EastEnders on this occasion. You may not be aware that the weekday premiere episodes of EastEnders will be moving to the later time of 17.30 from March 2013 on BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region and we hope that this later scheduling will be agreeable to you.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us.

Judging from the comments from other viewers, I guess I am not the only one dissatisfied with your trearment of EastEnders, specfically your decision to skip this past weekend's so-called omnibus. Of course, you had to free up schedule time for multiple repeats of YOUR comedy countdown. I seem unable to find any viewer comments praising your decisions in this regard. Additionally, today's episode of EastEnders must have started at least 15 minutes earlier than scheduled as it finished at about 1145. Fortunately the "omnibus" is again on the schedule for this coming weekend offering an opportunity to see that portion of the episode that YOU CAUSED us to miss. But, then again, this all underscores--once again--your complete disdain for EastEnders and disregard of your viewers', and I might add paymasters', opinions.

BBC

Dear Jay,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We appreciate your feedback regarding our programmes and scheduling and in particular your comments regarding the scheduling of the Comedy Countdown. On 1 January 2013, there was a change in the scheduling for the premiere episode of EastEnders and this was due to the scheduling of programmes which featured in the Comedy Countdown. We appreciate the disappointment caused to you and other fans of EastEnders who missed the start of this premiere episode and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, disappointment and annoyance caused. As mentioned in recent replies we have posted on this site, the weekday premiere episodes of EastEnders will be moving to the later time of 17.30 from March 2013 and we do hope that this later scheduling will be agreeable to yourself and other fans of EastEnders.

Winnie

Hi BBC, Eastenders is one of my favorite shows. Earlier it was sent daily at 19:30 hours, after some years at 18:00 now you send the show somewhere between 11:00 and 13:00, (most of us are at work), BBC Nordic has no txt tv, and it is a little diffycult to know when to record Eastenders, Why is it not sent at the same time every day ???

BBC

Dear Winnie,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in the Nordic region.

We really appreciate feedback from our viewers about our programmes and scheduling. Regarding the scheduling of EastEnders, we do hope that you will be pleased to read that from March 2013 the premiere espisodes of EastEnders on BBC Entertainment in the Nordic region will be moving to the later time of 17.30.

I'd love to see the entertaining chatshows Loose Women and Alan Tischmars and panelshow Celebrity Juice on BBC Nordic Channels. Great British television which we can't get anywhere else. Will those be in the schedules for 2013?
