It’s Christmas! Well… nearly. But with the Christmas lights aglow, shop decorations up and that festive feeling in the air, the countdown to Christmas is certainly on.

And while many of you will be gearing up for this season’s celebrations, at BBC Nordic, we have a range of Christmas Specials guaranteed to keep you entertained throughout the festive period. 

From channel favourites like The Great British Bake Off, Sewing Bee and The Great Pottery Throw Down to drama duos like Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders in Absolutely Fabulous, make the holiday season a festive one with our collection of Christmas Specials.

Travel Man: 48 Hours In…

Kicking-off the festivities this December, Richard Ayoade visits a whole host of popular travel destinations along with a celebrity guest companion.   

With three Christmas episodes to enjoy, including destinations such as Florence, Hong Kong and Iceland, the first festive instalment of Travel Man: 48 Hours In… starts Sunday 1st December at 18:00 on BBC Nordic.

The beloved British sitcom, Keeping Up Appearances is next on your Christmas watchlist with four, festive episodes to enjoy from 16:00 on Sunday 22nd December.

Similarly, fashion’s most fabulous duo, Edina (played by Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy (Joanna Lumley), will appear in three, back-to-back Christmas episodes of Absolutely Fabulous from 18:55 on Sunday 22nd December on BBC Nordic.

Putting their sewing skills to the test this Christmas, four new celebrities face the discerning eye of the Sewing Bee judges as they attempt to put their own spin on a festive apron and make a pop star-inspired costume fit for a New Year’s Eve celebration…

The Great Christmas Bake Off

Famous faces including Sir Tony Robinson and Miquita Oliver make their debut in the world-famous tent and bake to the best of their abilities, hoping to wow judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in this festive Bake Off special.

With not one but two Christmas instalments to feast your eyes on, you can catch the first episode of The Great Christmas Bake Off 2022 at 18:15 on Christmas Eve, with episode two available to watch at 18:15 on Christmas Day.

The Great Pottery Throw Down 

This Christmas, more celebrity guests take to the wheel and test their throwing abilities as they make an illuminated Christmas scene, as well as a batch of mulled wine tumblers.
