BBC Nordic’s Holiday Photo Competition
Get your cameras out. It’s time for BBC Nordic’s Holiday Photo Competition! BBC Nordic’s Summer of Travel is all about whisking you away to the most breathtaking destinations and sharing the beauty of travel. In that spirit, we want to give you a chance to share your most evocative travel photo. The standout photos will be featured on our channels and winners will receive an exclusive BBC Nordic backpack.
How do I participate?
Simple! Pack your bag and your camera – or phone – and capture your most beautiful holiday photo. We're looking for photos that make you want to pack your bags and explore. Whether it's a breathtaking landscape, a hidden gem, a cultural moment or an unexpected travel memory, we're seeking images that capture the spirit of summer travel through creativity and originality.
Once you’ve taken your photo, send it to us on Instagram or Facebook via DM, or post the photo on your own Instagram or Facebook account and tag us (@bbcnordic).
Please note: if you post your photo and tag us, your Instagram or Facebook profile must be set to ‘public’. Otherwise, we won’t be able to see your photo.
What makes a winning photo?
We will be looking for photos that:
• Capture the spirit of travel, nature or discovery
• Show creativity, originality and strong composition
Some things to remember
✓ The photo must be yours
✓ You own the rights to the image
✓ No prominent brands, logos or trademarks are visible
✓ Make sure you have permission from anyone clearly identifiable in the photo
✓ Read the Terms & Conditions before submitting your photo
✓ This competition runs from 1 July to 15 August.
